Medieval Crusader Coin Necklace, Knights of Cyprus Cross Denier Coin Pendant, Gold Plated

This Athentic piece of Crusader history, transformed into a unique medieval coin necklace. This gold plated pendant features an authentic Crusader coin from the medieval Kingdom of Cyprus, dating to the reign of Henry I of Lusignan, 1218-1253 AD.

More than 750 years old, the original coin was issued during the period of the Crusader States in the eastern Mediterranean, when the Lusignan Kingdom of Cyprus became one of the most important Christian kingdoms of the Crusader era.

The coin is a genuine medieval billon denier, made from a silver and copper alloy commonly used for coinage during the Crusader period.

One side of the coin features a prominent Crusader cross, one of the most recognizable symbols of medieval Crusader coinage.

The reverse depicts a stylized fortified gateway or castle with three towers, a distinctive design found on coins attributed to Henry I of Cyprus.

The surviving medieval lettering and architectural details give this ancient coin its wonderful historical character.
