Authentic Certified Ancient coin Silver necklace featuring a real antique Jewish Bronze Coin from the Third year of the First Revolt, dated 68/69 A.D.
Bronze prutahs were issued in the second and third years of the revolt (67-68 A.D), at the time of the Second Temple, by Zealot faction in Judea in an attempt to restore independence from the Roman empire.
♦ The Obverse of coin features an amphora with a pointed cover, with Paleo-Hebrew inscription "YEAR Three"
The Reverse shows a Vine leaf on small branch with tendril, with inscription "The Deliverance of Zion".
The coin is sometimes called a Masada coin as Masada was The last Battle of This Revolt.
♦ Good quality coin with many visible details of the amphora and vine leaf, but most of the inscription is worn. The coin has a beautiful patina- combining grey-greenish and brown..
