This unique necklace features an authentic real ancient Knights Templar Crusader denarius coin, minted in Jerusalem, 12th Century AD.
♦ This coin is from the time of Baldwin III, who was king of the Latin kingdom of Jerusalem from 1143-1163 AD. During the Second Crusade.
The Knights Templar were hosted in Jerusalem in the palace on the Temple Mount (location of the ancient Temple of Solomon).
These coins were circulated by the Templars during this time.
At the front of the coin is a crusader cross and at the back Tower of David and the inscription EIRVSALEM (Jerusalem)
Excellent quality Billon Denier coin- an alloy combining Silver and Copper, with clear visible details of the front cross and a lovely desert brown patina.
